Sovereignty Slipping Away

We May No Longer Have a Sovereign Nation

We have all seen very clearly that our southern border is apparently made out of Swiss cheese as 2.76 million illegal immigrants have streamed over it in 2022 alone, and an estimated 5.5 million since the Biden administration took office. Along with illegal crossings comes the deadly drug fentanyl.  CBS news reported that, Last year, the DEA seized enough fentanyl to kill every American — more than 50 million fentanyl-laced pills and over 10,000 pounds of fentanyl powder.” Chinese suppliers, with the full support of the CCP, provide the raw materials to Mexican drug cartels who in turn convert them to synthetic opioids. These illicit drugs are then sold on the black market in the United States. 107,000 Americans, mostly young people, died from fentanyl overdoses in 2021 alone. Why this humanitarian crisis is not being addressed by our elected officials and why Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security, still has a job remains a mystery.

Last week everyday Americans had also seen very clearly (some with the naked eye) that our northern border and sovereign air space is no longer secure either. A Chinese surveillance balloon was spotted by some civilians over Malmstrom Air Force Base which houses a series of nuclear silos in Montana. The US military had known of the existence of this intrusion for three days before alerting the public. Below is the timeline of the balloon’s foray into our country and a map of the balloon’s trajectory.

Saturday, Jan. 28– Entered US airspace in southern Alaska

Monday, Jan. 30 – Entered Canadian airspace

Tuesday, Jan. 31 Crossed into northern Idaho.

Wednesday, February 1– – First time the general public learned of its existence through a statement issued by the Pentagon.

Friday, Feb 3– Traveled over Kansas and Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

Saturday, Feb 4– Seen in North and South Carolina and shot down over the Atlantic Ocean.

This whole incident has been unsettling to say the least. The one job of the federal government and the military is to keep our homeland safe from foreign enemies. The official narrative coming out of Washington D.C. has been sketchy at best, and GMC feels compelled to ask the following questions that have not been satisfactorily addressed by the Biden administration or the Pentagon.

Why wasn’t the spy balloon shot down in Alaska when it first entered our airspace? Why did the Defense Command say it posed no intelligence risk when it was determined early on the balloon could be maneuvered over certain locations? Weren’t there various remote unpopulated areas in Alaska or Montana where the balloon could have been taken down without any debris harming communities and the people below?  How do we know if the payload contained solar powered drones that are still in the country gathering intelligence as some are suggesting? Why did a senior Department of Defense official say it never posed a “military or physical threat to the American people” when it has been reported it flew over multiple sensitive military sites? Assuming the information was gathered in real time and transmitted back to China, why was the balloon shot down only after all the surveillance was gathered and the balloon left the continental United States? The military claims that these balloons are a common occurrence, although the claim is being repeatedly denied.

This incident has either been incompetence of the highest order, or parts of our  government and military have been already compromised by the Chinese government. Sadly, both could be true. While our country is getting surveilled by our greatest extensional threat (China) high ranking military officials are either posting pictures of themselves with dog bondage gear on social media, worrying about which pronouns to use, or celebrating international transgender day of visibility. Our military has gone woke with this nonsense while the country is literally being invaded on our southern and northern border.

There also seems to be many Benedict Arnolds amongst us. Recall when the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staffs, Mark Milley, admitted he would contact a Chinese counterpart if the United States attacked Beijing?  Biden himself is up to his neck in Chinese entanglements as illustrated by Hunter’s laptop and the documented corruption it contained. And last year, the DOJ shut down an anti-espionage program that was focused on removing embedded Chinese assets in our institutions.  These examples hardly give the American people any confidence in the readiness or loyalty of our fighting force, commander-in-chief, or administrative state.

A nation without a strong and defensible border ceases to be a country. We are being overrun by hostile actors seeking our collective destruction. We can only hope that our elected officials on Capitol Hill and in the states where the balloon was spotted and also those adversely impacted by illegal immigration will put someone’s feet to the fire and get answers for the American people.

We are losing the country we all knew and loved and unless something dramatic happens very soon, we are going to face the real possibility of foreign control and with that a permanent surveillance state, food shortages and an atheistic communist philosophy. It’s not too late to turn this around, and with the help of the Almighty we just may wake from our slumber and begin to fight for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren.
