Southern Poverty Law Center Hurting Black Families

Folks who are not following political news probably have no idea the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is under investigation by the Department of Justice for manufacturing racial unrest and profiting from it. The organization is charged with money laundering and using donations to fund extremist groups to fan the fire of racism in the country, aiding the Democratic Party’s talking points.

Congressional hearings are taking place in Washington, D.C., with the SPLC’s acting CEO, Bryan Fair, answering questions from lawmakers. The exchange clearly illustrates the dishonesty and fraud under which the SPLC operates.

The SPLC is a self-credentialed organization that labels those it deems to be hate groups in America. By doing so, it is implied that the SPLC is defending what they view as attacks on minority groups. In reality, instead of defending their rights and dignity, the SPLC openly harms the groups they claim they are helping.  This fact came to the forefront during the hearing.

SPLC has repeatedly stoked racial tensions by what they call “hate watch”. Their mission is to “dismantle white supremacy in public forums and online, expose hate and anti-democracy extremism, and counter disinformation and conspiracy theories with research and community resources.”

The SPLC previously targeted pro-life groups as a tool of white supremacy. During the hearing, Brandon Gill, Representative from Texas, masterfully asked Fair, “Your organization said that restricting and banning abortion is a tool that the far right uses to maintain white supremacy. Do you believe that pro-lifers are white supremacists?”  To that question, Fair could not answer with either a yes or a no.

Gill continued to make his point, “About 40% of abortions nationwide are of black babies — blacks represent about 13% of the population. Does that sound like something a white supremacist would oppose?” Being exposed to the SPLC’s hypocrisy, Fair answered that he is for “reproductive liberty,” yet another new euphemism from the left.

Blacks make up 13% of the population, and yet they account for 40% of abortions. Obviously, any pro-life group does not make a difference between children of different races; they only care about the babies being killed. The SPLC, by labeling pro-life groups as white supremacists and claiming the ridiculous moniker of religious liberty, is in the business of killing those people they claim to defend.

The cognizant dissonance of calling organizations that are trying to save black babies from abortion and labeling them as white supremacists is yet another example of how communists get a foothold in free countries by sheer deception.

When the truth becomes fungible with a falsehood, and politics takes precedence over justice, the fate of a country is in peril. When a section of the population thinks that a pro-life organization is dedicated to defending the vulnerable, but believes they are a hate group, then evil has won the battle, but not the war.

Our job is never to tire of “proclaiming the word; be persistent, whether it is convenient or inconvenient; convince, reprimand, encourage through all patience and teaching.”
