Judge Jackson’s Feigned Ignorance

‘Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’

It took just a two-word answer to a softball question asked during her Senate confirmation hearing to demonstrate why Judge Kentaji Brown Jackson, President Joe Biden’s nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court, should not be confirmed.

“Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-TN, asked Jackson.

“I can’t,” the esteemed and learned judge replied.

“You can’t?” responded the senator, who seemed somewhat taken aback by her answer.

“Not in this context. I’m not a biologist,” Jackson said

“The meaning of the word woman is so unclear and controversial that you can’t give me a definition?” Blackburn inquired incredulously. “The fact that you can’t give me a straight answer about something as fundamental as what a woman is underscores the dangers of the kind of progressive education that we are hearing about.”

Not only the dangers of progressive education, we might add, but the dangers of nominating such out-of-the-mainstream individuals to make legal decisions that affect all Americans.

Judge Jackson is not a biologist, but she is a federal judge. As such, she is empowered to rule on federal law that contains the word “woman.” Example: The Violence Against Women Act.

Or the Pregnancy Discrimination Act of 1978, an amendment to the Civil Rights Act, which bans companies from making hiring or other employment decisions based on a woman’s pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical issues. (And yes, Judge Jackson, only biological women can get pregnant!)

And she supposedly has access to a dictionary.

According to Merriam Webster, a “woman” is “an adult female person.” An “adult” is “fully developed and mature” biologically. A “female” is defined as “the sex that typically has the capacity to bear young or produce eggs.” And a “person” is “an individual human.” So the definition of a woman is a mature individual human being who has the biological capacity to bear young.

Not hard at all!

Even President Joe Biden said he was going to nominate a “black woman” to replace Justice Stephen Breyer on the high court. If there’s no such thing as a woman, Biden’s comment was meaningless, as were all the fawning media sycophants chattering about the “first black woman” on SCOTUS.

If confirmed, how could Jackson rule on laws that were specifically passed to protect women?

So now we come to the real reason for her feigned ignorance. She is so radical that she is willing to corrupt the common language Americans use every day, the language used in our social, business, civil and legal affairs, to further her ideological agenda, which is to turn human beings made in the image and likeness of God into interchangeable cogs with no intrinsic identity to make it easier for them to be subjugated by the global elites.

And any senator who votes to put this extremely radical black woman on the highest court of the land is unworthy of the office.
