The radical Left’s clear intention to corrupt children into believing the outrageous lie that they were born in the “wrong body” hit a roadblock when the Trump administration failed to play along with their insanity.
Now the Left is trying to get around parental guardrails by proposing that minor children living in residential facilities be allowed to “divorce” their parents based entirely on the child’s unverified claim of physical or emotional abuse.
No one will be surprised to learn that this craziness is being considered in California, where many of the Left’s big donors live. A bill introduced in the California Assembly (AB 1967) would allow any child in a residential setting, such as a foster home or therapeutic facility, to file a legal affidavit to remove them from their parents’ custody without having to prove that they have been harmed.
The fact that this bill was introduced by Rick Zbur, a legislator who was an LGBTQ rights attorney, should surprise no one. This is the same shameless Assembly member who went on a public rant comparing those protecting women’s sports to Nazis.
The bill is aimed squarely at parents who refuse to play along with the Left’s transgender mania. A parent who refuses to call their child by their birth name could lose custody solely based on that.
The bill specifies minors living in residential facilities, but if it becomes law, there will be a push to allow all children the same “right” to sever their relationship with their parents. This is right out of the Marxist playbook: invent a “problem” and then offer a “solution” that weakens the family and leaves children vulnerable to predators.
