It’s not a mere statistic, but a stark reality: Left-wing terrorism and violence are at a 30-year high. The relentless 24/7 news cycle ensures that these acts of violence and killings are always in the spotlight. Whether it’s through network coverage or internet news, the American public is sadly informed of yet another violent event. The latest was the heart-wrenching atrocity of murderous deaths at a Mormon Church in Michigan.
Just a day before, another attack on the innocent happened in North Carolina, with a deranged man with mental issues shooting from a boat at people just having dinner dockside. The trends are an alarming forecast of what can be expected. The United States is devolving and beginning to resemble the almost daily chaos of the Marxist insurrections seen in South America.
In every country where Marxism has taken power, it was preceded by violence and chaos. This is a well-documented historical fact. There will be a breaking point if something isn’t done. If the unchecked violence isn’t met with righteous resistance, it will continue and gain strength and power. For the majority of Americans, this result is unacceptable.
Random political violence must stop or, at the very least, be severely curtailed. There will never be a time in a free society when violence is absent. Using medical terminology, freedom has to accept certain levels of societal disease, but the disease must be managed. Obviously, the management is lacking.
Part of the problem is that the disease has been allowed to metastasize. Marxist ideology, once seen as radical and marginalized, has, for too many, become a mainstream and legitimate political position. With the tacit acceptance of Marxist thought, the violence associated with it is often viewed as necessary to achieve what is believed to be the means to save the country. The method is to call everyone a fascist when, in reality, they are the fascists trying to destroy American freedom. Left unaddressed, Marxism will take a foothold, and American life as we know it will change.
The recent announcement from the Trump administration naming Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization is a good start. With the consequences attached to a criminal enterprise, it will begin to send the insurrectionists back to the margins. There has also been talk about defunding the left of their financial backing. The defunding will take much more time than labeling an organization as a terrorist group; however, these are good strategies. The insurgency is not as organic as some think; it continues to make headway with the financing behind it. Cut off the funding and treat them as a conspiratorial enterprise, and it will shrivel just as the Italian Mafia did when faced with similar tactics. Without pay, the Marxist foot soldiers will go home, and the lack of numbers will dissuade others from acting out.
Another aspect of the culture must be addressed in conjunction with the established efforts to curb violence and the rampant drug use. Not the illegal drug use, which has problems all on its own, but the prescription drug problem in America. The pharmaceutical industry is causing havoc, and the lust for profits continually adds to the problem. There must be a reckoning for these companies that made billions during COVID and are searching for more by peddling their products, encouraging too many people to use them.
It is estimated that over 76 million Americans are on psychiatric drugs. No one is arguing that drugs are necessary to stabilize those who need them. An honest question must be raised. Is it essential for 76 million people to be stabilized mentally? The next logical question is whether these drugs have been adequately studied to ensure the long-term effects do not cause a rise in violent behaviors. Psychic drugs are not the only problem.
Relatively new is the nexus between gender affirming diagnosis and the use of drugs. The rise in transgender violence correlates with an uptick in the number of those who claim they have gender dysphoria. Studies have shown that between 2013 and 2019, the number of gender dysphoria diagnoses increased by 695%. This increase in diagnoses may be contributing to the rise in transgender violence. Concurrently, the number of hormone therapies increased by 781%. The medical and pharmaceutical industries are major contributors to the rise in this evil trend. Heaven knows what happens if these types of drugs, in defiance of nature, can adversely affect the user.
Moral people have a profound obligation to stop violence in their society. The only peaceful way to accomplish this is to continue voting for representatives who have vowed to fight the battle with a deep commitment to stop political violence.
There must also be a demand to make medical institutions and big Pharma accountable for what they are doing to people by creating an environment of drug-induced people. Are these industries creating more problems than they are solving? Is it similar to the oxycodone problem of the past, which hooked many on illicit drugs to feed their habit? The initial claim was that it was not addictive, and time proved it was a bald-faced lie. Are psychic and hormone replacement the next big lie? These questions need to be answered if a society wants decreased violence.
Lastly, pray that those seeking solace in a pill will find true peace in a relationship with God.

Criticizing a “lust for profits” is anti-capitalist sentiment and is flagged under NPSM-7 as a common thread potentially leading to violent conduct. Are you a communist?
Thank you for your comment. No we are not communists. Keep reading and thank you for your readership.
