All sorts of talk swirled around the news that former President Joe Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer, which has metastasized into his bones. No moral person is happy to hear that someone is fighting cancer, and sympathy must be extended. However, many commentators are lumping the cancer diagnosis with the cover-up of his mental abilities while in office. They are quick to mention the outright lies about Biden’s health and how dangerous it was since he had the nuclear codes under his control as President.
The contention has some validity, but it seems more like a “spilled milk” argument than a proper analysis. At this juncture, whether or not the media and the Deep State lied is a moot point, because Biden and his handlers no longer have any power. The Biden administration caused a lot of harm to the country with its ideology of transforming the nation into something quite different from what the founding fathers envisioned.
The truth is that the probability of any person being held accountable for lawlessness is nil. Everyone knows there will be no repercussions, legal action, or prosecutions. Becoming indignant is a waste of time.
What needs to be learned is that a “Biden-like” administration can never again come to power. The only way this can be achieved is to safeguard the electoral process from ballot tampering and provide legal remedies devoid of political biases. Biden’s rise to power culminated in years of erosion of constitutional principles initially developed to safeguard democracy. Starting with local and state abuse and the lack of a judicial system meant to right wrongs, a systematic and widespread failure allowed an administration to lie to the public repeatedly and ignore the Constitution and the country’s laws. It comes as no surprise that the media and Democrats lied about Biden’s cognitive health and perhaps conveniently left out his prostate cancer.
With the health issue set aside for a moment, the greatest failure of the electoral process during the 2020 presidential election must be placed at the steps of the Supreme Court. The highest court in the land has enormous power, determining how Americans will live, but it failed to act during the contested election, causing Biden to take office.
When legitimate claims about questionable practices in contested states were brought to their attention, seeking a ruling, the Supreme Court did nothing. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas summed it up perfectly. “We failed to settle this dispute before the election, and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections. The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence.”
No one can be certain that any presidential administration will not lie to the public to further its agenda. Different administrations appear to understand transparency in various ways. Nevertheless, corrupted candidates can be elected, but when there is a question about the validity of an election, the Supreme Court can never punt the ball like they did in the 2020 election. The Court must stay out of politics and use its time to decide if an election was legal and ensure that an administration follows the law. They did neither during Biden’s term. It seems this is a bigger story than the late announcement of a cancer diagnosis.
