Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò was summoned by Rome to attend an extrajudicial criminal trial for schism, which will determine whether or not he will be excommunicated based on these charges:
Public statements which result in a denial of the elements necessary to maintain communion with the Catholic Church; Denial of the legitimacy of Pope Francis, and rupture of communion with him; Rejection of the Second Vatican Council.
Viganò remains unapologetically defiant and views this latest attack by Pope Francis as a badge of honor. There have been many others who have questioned the disastrous fruits of Vatican II, those who have suspected there was corruption in the last conclave that elected Pope Francis, and folks like Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden who openly promote abortion. Nevertheless, none of these Catholics are on trial or slated to be excommunicated.
Viganò did accuse Pope Francis in May of abusing a former novice. At that time, he did not provide any definitive evidence, which greatly reduced the legitimacy of the claim. Along with the post was an artificial intelligence (AI) graphic of Pope Francis draped in an LGBTQ flag. This also was unfortunate. At the time of the accusation, Viganò did indicate that he was not planning on releasing any proof at this time. This accusation may have been the final straw in a long series of criticisms by Viganò leveled against Pope Francis since the publication of the McCarrick letter in 2018, blowing wide open the rampant corruption and collusion within the Vatican.
In a recent podcast Vatican insider, Dr. Robert Moynihan, revealed that his sources have been telling him that there were high level talks a year or two ago about excommunicating Viganò, however there was a fear that this attempt would give him martyr status – something that would be totally intolerable. It appears that the hierarchy is now willing to take that chance at the risk of appearing they are punishing a whistleblower who has exposed unspeakable crimes.
What is also interesting is the timing of this particular persecution. One wonders if he is intentionally being taken off the playing field of public discourse before the American presidential election in November. Others like Peter Navarro, Steve Bannon and even President Trump all have been victims of a similar political tactic. The global power brokers like to give dissidents fighting the new world order an unfavorable moniker like “convicted felon” or “excommunicated” to trumpet it all over mainstream media and thereby tarnish one’s reputation and influence. What also seems apparent is that the outcome of this proceeding appears to be predetermined, similar to those we are currently witnessing in our own country, a show trial as it were, right out of the Marxist playbook.
Viganò made this incredible statement, “No Catholic worthy of the name can be in communion with this “Bergoglian church,” because it acts in clean discontinuity and rupture with all the Popes of history and with the Church of Christ.”
We cannot deny that the Bergoglian church allowed the pagan Pachamama idol into St. Peter’s Basilica, promoted the mRNA jab, shut down the mass during the pandemic, sold out Chinese Catholics to the CCP, approved of a document blessing homosexual couples, cared more about climate change than the salvation of souls, is allied with the globalists, has created mass confusion on matters of doctrine, etc. Where does this leave the rest of us?
Maybe Viganò is right.
