Tucker Carlson is at it again. One has to wonder why he has seemingly done a 180 on his support for President Trump and the MAGA coalition. We have already exposed his extensive use of manipulation in our article entitled: Podcast Propaganda Part 2.
In addition, Carlson has been caught in bald faced lies and has been platforming some shady characters on his podcast including the likes of Nick Fuentes (self-identified white nationalist and provocateur), Alex Jones (conspiracy theorist par excellence), Elizabeth Lane a.k.a Iza Bendianishvili (likely a Russian intelligence asset), Darryl Cooper (a holocaust denier), and most recently Hunter Biden (who is now blaming Israel for releasing his “laptop from hell”).
To add to this insanity, Carlson announced a “new path forward” for America and hinted at creating an independent political party. His colleagues in this endeavor are a suspected national security leaker: Joe Kent; Trump agenda saboteur: Thomas Massie; and ‘I’m staying in Congress just long enough to get my federal pension’: Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG)—a strange cast of characters to say the least.
On a special podcast last week, Carlson outlined a ten-point plan for America and quite possibly the planks of his new political party’s platform. The plan was unserious in nature and short on actionable policy. Understandably, Carlson was soundly mocked online, with some comparing his plan to a junior high student council president campaigning for extra recess, free pizza, and no homework.
It is important to note that most of Carlson’s points are something any normal person might agree with. However, he often frames the idea in highly manipulative language to lead the listener to a false conclusion. Nevertheless, we will examine each of his ten-point plan below.
- Fair. Carlson argues that the “Epstein Class” plays by different rules and is allowed to enrich itself through a corrupt system. This is true. But why isn’t he naming the names of people in Congress who have increased their net wealth since taking office? Where is his exposé on Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders, or Carlson’s new best friend, MTG? She entered Congress with a net worth of $700,00 and left with almost $25 million. Seems like MTG is also allowed to play by different rules.
Also, by continuing to harp about the Epstein files, Carlson is trying to stir up resentment in the MAGA base. The majority of people mentioned in these files were democrat donors, and he should be using his massive reach to expose them if he really wants justice. But he doesn’t care if they are prosecuted or not. He only wants to use this issue to divide the right. And to those who continue to say that absolutely nothing has been done, Jeffrey Epstein is dead, and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell is still in prison. So there’s that.
- Sovereign. We all agree that we should have a sovereign nation that protects our borders and enforces our laws. However, Carlson claims, without producing one shred of evidence, that we are not a sovereign nation because Israel bribed and/or threatened the U.S. into starting the war with Iran. This is yet another way to bash the Jewish people by somehow implying that they are pulling Trump’s puppet strings. It should be clear by now that Trump is his own master, as he has often rebuked Bibi Netanyahu. Trump has also made the U.S. more sovereign by limiting our involvement in globalist organizations. For instance, he withdrew from the WHO, cut a billion dollars from the UN, shut down USAID, and made NATO countries pay their fair share.
Carlson also says that debt is a form of slavery and the banking system is rigged. This anti-Semitic trope is as old as time. It fails to acknowledge that there are tons of other nefarious lenders and hedge fund managers worldwide who are decidedly not Jewish. The truth is no one is forced to borrow money, but if you want something you cannot afford, you have to pay interest. This is the tradeoff you make.
- Productive. Carlson wants the U.S. to rebuild our manufacturing, farming, and craftsmanship. Then why doesn’t he applaud the efforts of the Trump Administration that are now bringing back to the U.S. automotive production, pharmaceuticals, technology hardware, and heavy industry? Instead, he says that we have all been betrayed by President Trump. In this case, he lies by omission.
- Beautiful. Carlson bemoans the ugliness of American cities – the architecture, crime, graffiti, and public drug use. Why doesn’t he lay the blame where it belongs, which is squarely on the shoulders of the Democrat party and their sycophantic mayors and district attorneys? Fifty or more years of this corrupt and woke leadership has indeed ruined New York, Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and other cities in blue states. No one is arguing that. His solution of creating a third party will only ensure that the Democrats will remain in power by splitting independents and siphoning votes away from Republican candidates. His rhetoric alone will not solve the problem of America’s crumbling cities. Instead, Carlson should be encouraging urban voters to leave the Democratic Party.
- Healthy. Carlson has embraced RFK’s MAHA whole food agenda. He also argues for sobriety (another Prohibition?) and for the reduction of SSRI’s being currently prescribed. However, it is a little tough to take health suggestions from someone who is the co-owner of ALP nicotine pouches. While perhaps better than smoking, nicotine pouches are highly addictive, can cause cardiovascular strain, and expose the user to heavy metals like nickel and chromium. I guess it’s okay for Carlson to have his vice; he doesn’t want anyone else to have theirs.
- Honest. Carlson thinks government officials should be punished for lying. He thinks that the John F. Kennedy assassination and September 11th files should be declassified. Okay, but how does this help everyday Americans build a better life? This one is also rather rich coming from a man who has lied repeatedly. It sounds an awful lot like, “Rules for thee, but not for me.” Sorry Tucker, but the pot calling the kettle black here really doesn’t land.
- Optimistic. Carlson argued that childless and/or old people are ruining the country since they do not look out for future generations. Carlson claimed that since Trump is 80 years old, he doesn’t have a vested interest in the future of America. Trump may be an old man, but he does have five relatively young children and eleven grandchildren. Carlson’s comment lacks a certain grace, and at 57 years old himself is no spring chicken. He also thinks Americans should be having more children, and we agree with that, but makes no mention of the millions of babies killed by abortion each year as a possible solution to the birthrate crisis.
- Wise. Carlson is a proponent of teaching kids how the physical world works and the innate differences between men and women. No argument here.
- Decent. Carlson thinks that the U.S. should apologize and pay restitution for killing noncombatants. He also thinks that we should stop funding Israel, which has committed genocide. Again, it is all about Israel’s crimes and nary a word about how Hamas, Hezbollah, and other terrorist organizations intentionally put civilians in harm’s way. Also, is Russia going to be held to account for the civilian deaths they caused in their conflict with Ukraine? We predict Carlson will be mum on that front.
- United. Carlson has called for halting illegal immigration, but doesn’t he know that the border is the most secure it has been for years under the Trump administration? He also asks for the benefits for undocumented immigrants to end. This has been accomplished to some degree by ending the USAID grants that were funding left-leaning NGOs. Deportations are also on the rise, as well as a decline in the number of H-1B visas. Have there been as many deportations as we would have liked? No. But at least the statistics are trending in the right direction.
Carlson then stoked fear that the world is heading toward a nuclear disaster. Unfortunately, we have been living under this threat for over eighty years now, so what else is new? He also warned about the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This may indeed be an issue, but so is the meteoric rise of Marxism, which seems more likely and quicker to change the fabric of America.
Carlson said nothing about DEI, feminism, LGBTQ indoctrination, foreign influence in higher education, Black Lives Matter, reparations, socialized health, Islamism, and the endless class and race warfare being waged on Americans.
His basic message is that, at the end of the day, Republicans and Democrats are the same, so don’t vote for either. It seems as if he is purposely trying to demoralize voters and tip the scales for the midterms in November. If his third party is successful, they will split low-informed independent voters to the left and thereby give the advantage to those who hate this country and want it fundamentally changed. We cannot let this happen. We also cannot let our desire for a perfect situation be the enemy of a good one. There will always be corrupt Republicans, but if the radical Marxists continue to win elections, we will not be able to recognize this country in a few years.
Tucker Carlson is truly an enigma. Is he a traitor? Is he just a petty man who was snubbed? Is he a hack? Is he a Democrat in sheep’s clothing? Do the demons possess him, he claimed, who scratched his back? Is he a CIA asset? Do foreign interests pay him? Is he a clown (he certainly cackles like one)? No matter what he is or what his agenda may truly be, we must put aside our differences on the right and come together to defeat the Democrats in the midterms. Our rights, freedom, and the fate of the country depend on it.
