The Marxist Left Keeps Trying to Use Its Favorite Tactic of Destroying Family Relationships
Well, the Marxist left is, again, encouraging brainwashed sycophants to punish their families this holiday season by refusing to attend any gatherings. This recent suggestion has come from a Yale University psychiatrist, Amanda Calhoun, who appeared on Joy- Ann Reid’s MSNBC cable show called The ReidOut.
As a side note, Reid is a rabid race-baiter and blamed white women and Hispanic men for Donald Trump’s victory last week. How she gets away with this rhetoric is truly astonishing. The good news is that MSNBC’s ratings are crumbling right before our eyes. Her show has now lost 54.6% of its viewers. Let’s hope this train wreck of a show gets canceled and Reid is sent packing along with her deranged guests. But we digress.
Reid asked Calhoun, the so-called mental health expert, how democrat voters should respond to any close relatives who voted for Trump. She replied, “There is a societal push that, if somebody is your family, they are entitled to your time. And I think the answer is absolutely not.” She continued, “To say, ‘I have a problem with the way that you voted because it went against my very livelihood, and I’m not going to be around you this holiday. I need to take some space for me.’”
This idiotic woman from Yale is suggesting that people disown their own families over a presidential election. Never before in the history of our country have we seen this kind of hatred directed at one’s own family over political viewpoints. And this is not the first time these dastardly people have tried to rip apart American families at the seam. This strategy comes from the Marxist playbook, which they have used previously.
Recall the George Floyd incident, which turned many young adults against their parents. The Marxist left encouraged children to call their parents racists and white supremacists. Grown children were told to confront their parents’ white privilege to address the myth of systemic racism.
Often, these were the same Christian parents who had taught their kids from little on to respect all human beings, regardless of race, as being made in the image and likeness of God. Many also had a variety of friends and acquaintances across the ethnic spectrum, and some had even married members of minority groups. None of this mattered as the cancerous cult indoctrinated the young through social media, demanding their pound of flesh for the death of a man who had a violent criminal past.
Another of the Marxist left’s family-wrecking campaigns came amid the COVID-19 pandemic. People of all ages were encouraged to shun extended family members who had the audacity to buck the mainstream wisdom and opt out of receiving the experimental mRNA shot. At one point, it was suggested that hosts require proof of vaccination from their family members to attend holiday celebrations.
Gullible parents were warned to keep the grandchildren away from grandparents, and some punished their elders for not getting the shot or multiple boosters by withdrawing access to the grandkids. Sadly, older members of families were often left to die alone in hospitals and nursing homes. Some were not even afforded a funeral, as grieving relatives were not allowed to gather and comfort one another.
These forces are cult-like and have pulled vulnerable people away from their natural support systems and from the only real people who genuinely love them—their families. Marxists always isolate weak-minded people from the influence of their families, require them to obey in lockstep, and make them denounce those who gave them their very lives. They instinctively know their power diminishes when the family is strong and united.
Although Trump won a historic and decisive victory, people of good faith cannot let up until these evil forces that have metastasized into every single institution (including the church) are pulled out by the roots and tossed into the dustbin of history. That means we must all keep praying, engaging with our family members, and continuing to be active in our communities. Unfortunately, this fight is far from over. Let us recommit to restoring the country we love and fighting to keep our families intact.
