It is said that where there is smoke, there is a good chance of fire. With the recent arrest of Linda Sun, the former deputy chief of staff to Governor Hochul, for being an agent of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), you can be sure that behind the smoke, there is fire.
Sun is not the only person who has had ties with the CCP and infiltrated our political landscape through the Democratic Party. A couple of years ago, most people were oblivious to the threat of the CCP’s growing influence in our country by establishing Confucius Centers in colleges and universities. Supposedly, these Centers were established to offer language and culture courses. In reality, in over 100 liberal colleges and universities, the Centers educated a generation of American students in the regime’s propaganda, conveniently avoiding human rights abuses and portraying Taiwan and Tibet as undisputed territories of China.
The CCP’s influence is not restricted to brainwashing young American minds; their tentacles extended noticeably through the Democratic Party. Six years ago, the nation learned that the influential Democratic Senator Diane Feinstein from California, who was the Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, had employed a Chinese spy as her driver for nearly 20 years. It was reported that her driver repeatedly reported information back to his handlers in China.
Another member of Congress, Eric Swalwell, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, was outed for dating a Chinese woman by the name of Fang (Christine) Fang. The liberal media site Axios reported that federal intelligence services were concerned about Fang’s behavior and activities as an agent of the CCP.
The CCP’s influence with the Democratic party was not hidden in Joe Biden and his son Hunter’s dealings. Starting in 2009 and lasting over ten years, the dynamic duo had questionable business deals with China. The pay-to-play scheme orchestrated by the Biden Crime syndicate has caused harm to the United States; the extent may never be known.
The list of Democrats and Chinese influence doesn’t end there. The Vice President candidate is Tim (tampon) Walz. Walz has visited China 30 times and honeymooned in the Marxist country. When his infatuation with China was revealed, Senator Mark Rubio remarked, “Walz is an example of how Beijing patiently grooms future American leaders.” As governor of Minnesota, Walz had meetings with senior Chinese leaders.
News now about the arrest and indictment of Linda Sun, who held positions in the Cuomo and Hochul administrations, is the latest revelation of how the Chinese Communist Party has infiltrated the Democratic Party. According to the indictment, Sun acted as an agent for the CCP. Sun’s actions facilitated access to private government communications, influenced the governor’s public remarks, and blocked the Taiwanese government from communicating with government officials.
It is hard to know how many more instances of the CCP infiltration of the Democratic Party and its officials. The one sure thing is that the CCP prefers to work with Democrats, and why wouldn’t they? The premiere Marxist government has the hearts and minds of the new Marxists, all with a big ‘D’ after their names.
Instead of Russia, Russia, Russia, the new chant should be China, China, China. They are the real threat to our republic.
