If you believe the current presidential polls, the race for the highest office is neck and neck. The contrast between the two parties has never been more evident. The Democrats openly campaign for the growth of government, increasing the debt to unsustainable heights and causing debilitating inflation.
The continued push to expand abortion and the mutilation of children is not weird to them but a mainstream political agenda. Unfettered illegal immigration is supposed to make the country more diverse and stronger on the backs of taxpaying citizens who have no voice in the matter, along with ignoring the will of their constituents to vote for the candidate of their choice. The government silences and imprisons anyone who dares to speak out against the approved policy and sees it as their responsibility to take away your child if you question your wacky spouse who wants to change them into a gender different from their birth.
From a completely objective perspective, how can anyone prefer a chaotic and unbalanced life that causes them harm? But for some reason, they do. Almost 50% of the country’s voters will vote for policies not in their best interest. It is so important that it needs to be repeated. 50% of Americans will choose to be persecuted and fool themselves into thinking these policies should continue and grow.
Many have attributed the psychosis to relentless brainwashing via public education and social and mainstream media. It is a reasonable conclusion but somewhat vague. By unpacking the term “brainwashing,” the gullible have been conditioned that there are some unforgivable sins that can never be committed. They are racism, your body, your choice, the social justice precepts of diversity, inclusion, equity, and climate awareness.
Progressives’ new sins have supplanted the old sins of established religious belief. They have rewritten what it means to sin, and these rules only apply to politically charged themes while ignoring the devastation left in their wake. These are the unforgivable sins of the progressives, while human destruction and death no longer apply.
With the decline of institutional religion among Americans, it stands to reason that those who have given up their faith need some framework to orient their lives. Haplessly swaying in the breeze and grasping for something, progressive leaders have attracted these orphans, giving them a sense of purpose and a whole new moral paradigm without having to change anything or be personally responsible for their actions. Just follow the progressive mandate, and you will be virtuous.
This lens makes it understandable why 50% vote the way they do. In order not to be racist, a person has to agree with the Chicago Teachers Union president, Stacy Davis Gates, who claims standardized tests are “junk science in white supremacy and born out of eugenics. The mortal sin of racism can never be allowed. Voting for the party, which allegedly is against racism, is the absolution needed to suppress white guilt.
The killing of a baby inside the womb and even after is a sure sign that a woman’s body is her own. Limiting abortions or taking away the legal right to kill infants already born will only shackle women and harm the long fight for women’s rights. We’re not going back, yells Kamala. Don’t worry, say the 50%; we will obey the order that every woman has the right to kill her innocent child whether they are born or not. After all, it’s my body, my choice.
The perceived injustice of social justice is probably the biggest and most significant of all progressive sins. It encompasses the racial, sexual, and economic evils our nation faces. The only way to combat this ingrained wickedness is to push for diversity, inclusion, and equity. Anyone who is against the DEI agenda must be a racist, sexist, homophobe, xenophobe, or misogynist.
To spare from being one of these evil people, a progressive disciple cannot question merit and skill as a prerequisite for employment. To be an actual human being, one cannot be against the mutilation of children, object to a restriction on a woman’s body, or not have compassion for those streaming over the border. For the infidels who clutch their bibles and adhere to the truth of creation and the absolute right of parents, your children should be taken away from you or at least transitioned without your knowledge if you can’t imagine or allow a boy’s right to become a girl.
Rounding out the list of prohibited activities is a firm conviction of the existential threat of climate change. Forget about the existential threat of abortion and violent crime; the only danger to you and your descendants is the rise of one degree in the next 2000 years or perhaps the lowering of a degree. It’s hard to keep up. Nevertheless, until you agree to stop all civilized activities in the name of climate, your punishment will be the extinction of your children and grandchildren. This is a monster sin. Don’t let the slave labor in China and the raping of the minerals in Africa to produce batteries sway your conviction. Hold fast and ignore all the hardships your fellow man must endure so your conscience can be clear.
This November, 50% of voters will cast a ballot for their self-interests and that of the country, while the other half will continue to vote for a party that lies to them and readily cast them into the gutter. Until these progressive disciples get real religion, the same thing will happen in four years. They will be subjected to evil, being told it is good, voting with their masters, and always against their best interests.
