The recent revelations that the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) had been doling out money to various news outlets has shocked the nation. In a time when most Americans have been struggling to make ends meet, the admission that our own government has taken millions of dollars of taxpayer funds to prop up regime narratives is a tough pill to swallow.
At a recent press conference, Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt dropped this bombshell, “I can confirm that more than $8 million taxpayer dollars that have gone to essentially subsidizing subscriptions to Politico on the American taxpayers’ dime will no longer be happening.” It was reported that each of these subscriptions to PoliticoPro cost $10,000 a pop, which also hints at serious money laundering. In all, Politico received $34.3 million from the federal government since 2015.
However, Politico was not the only news outlet on the take. According to the Federalist, the following news organizations have also received federal funding: Associated Press (AP) $37.5 million in the last fifteen years; Reuters $10.6 million beginning in 2020; New York Times $2.7 million since 2008; and the Washington Post $1.7 million since 2014. That’s 87 million dollars that has been uncovered thus far. It is no wonder that these organizations have often parroted identical talking points, and their editorial pages echoed the exact same propaganda as the Russian hoax allegations or the origins of COVID-19.
We are also learning that what appeared to be mainstream American opinion on things like allowing men to compete in women’s sports, keeping our borders wide open, the censorship of free speech, and DEI policies in all of our institutions were wholly manufactured by the mainstream media through their financial and incestual relationships with the federal government. These ideologies did not organically arise from the masses – they were strategically promoted on news outlets and social media sites to shape public opinion.
The US government, through USAID and its cutouts, is very experienced in using this type of propaganda machine as they have been conducting regime changes and color revolutions around the world for decades. You may recall the Arab Spring, the overthrow of Qaddafi, or the toppling of the elected government in Ukraine in 2014. Unbelievable as it may seem, the US government this time trained its massive power and influence mechanisms to essentially create a coup d’état right in our own country by ousting President Trump in 2020 and trying to prevent his return in 2024.
When Trump coined the mainstream media “Fake News,” it sounded like a clever little label to hurl against outlets that continually ran unfavorable stories against him. At the time, we did not realize how accurate this label would become. We have been living in a simulation targeted against the American people and have been punished for our unconventional choice of president.
Trump was a businessman who vowed to drain the swamp, which was very appealing to most Americans. This rocked the establishment to its core. They never wanted Trump to win, let alone govern, and they have tried everything from phony allegations, investigations, and assassination attempts to stop him. What is particularly troubling is that taxpayers have been funding this coup to the tune of millions (possibly billions) of dollars. With the exposure of USAID and the work of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), it has become glaringly apparent the vast quantity of corruption the federal government has been engaged in over the last fifty years – all under the guise of national security.
The regime is wounded and, like a cornered animal, is very dangerous right now. Whether Trump and Musk can truly cut off the heads of this hydra is still uncertain. We will need to continue to pray for the safety of Donald Trump, his family, the administration, and all those who are working on behalf of the American people to restore our God-given freedoms. This battle is far from over.
