The Vapid Morality of the Democratic Party

When Trump took office, we all thought we would hear the last of the key members of Biden’s cabinet, but how wrong we were. The former Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg, recently commented on the best way to attract males to return to voting for the Democratic party. The 2020 presidential candidate and former Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, was the only candidate who openly flaunted his gay status. If you missed the irony about a gay man recruiting straight men to vote for his party, then you can at least take notice of Mayor Pete’s tone deafness.
As an ardent LGBTQ+ advocate whose major thrust is the normalization of transgenderism, the ability for him to understand a normal heterosexual man is dubious at best. He is quoted as saying, “I think we’re actually in an exceptionally ugly moment in terms of some figures deciding that there’s utility, political utility, in targeting trans people and LGBTQ people more generally.”
Rumors have surfaced that Buttigieg is contemplating another presidential run in 2028. It is understandable if the rumors are true, he would want to place himself in public discourse. One way in which he wants to remain relevant is by being a guest on a podcast. Such was the case the other day when he went on The Bulwark, hosted by Tim Miller, who was also an openly gay man. The questions posed by Miller were in response to the Democratic Party’s initiative, “Speaking with American Men.”
The initiative, which cost the Democratic Party $20 million, supposedly hopes to reverse the loss of American young men by emphasizing online presence. It recommends how language and advertising can attract young men to pay attention and take out advertising in video games.
When Miller asked Buttigieg if the strategy behind the initiative could work, Buttigieg changed the subject and spoke about his deep convictions about alternative lifestyles and how they are being challenged under Trump’s leadership. Buttigieg criticized Speaker Mike Johnson because of his conservative leanings, which will make it impossible for gay people to be married and prohibit straight people from divorce, let alone having the right to obtain birth control.
The ideology expressed by Mayor Pete is what you would expect, but what he said next definitely raises the eyebrows of Christians. He mentioned the MAGA voters are not looking out for their best interests. With the way the present administration is moving, they will soon ban MAGA voters from indulging in pornography. According to Pete, Speaker Mike Johnson wants to regulate porn, and a lot of people will have a problem with that.
Those who will have a problem with it are those of Buttigieg’s ilk. They are people who have abandoned their moral compass when they have defiantly rejected the truth that human beings are subject to God and his natural laws. Plenty of male voters believe in God and further know that pornography is something that causes harm to themselves and others.
When you live an aberrant lifestyle, where you claim your male partner is your wife and engage in an endless contraception, then it is understandable you might think porn is a necessary to attract male voters. Nor would you be concerned about the emotional, psychological, and spiritual harm it causes. The fake marriage of man and man or woman and woman make it almost impossible to conceive that porn could hurt a real marriage. It is probably a good bet that those who abuse children are porn addicts themselves, and that includes women as well.
The right of voters to have unlimited access to the filth is your plan to bring male voters into your camp? Precisely because of the views of politicians like Mayor Pete, males are leaving in droves from the Democratic party.
In some ways, it is good for Pete to be so ill-informed because it has proven to be the best way to prevent God-fearing individuals from voting for such an immoral party. On the other hand, it is sad that so many folks think nothing of the party’s lack of moral clarity.
