One of the last vindictive acts Biden has done in his presidency is honoring three objectionable figures with the Medal of Freedom. The Medal was instituted in 1945 and later amended by John F. Kennedy to honor civilians who embodied meritorious contributions to the betterment of the country. Those awarded the honor should contribute to “(1) the security or national interests of the United States, or (2) world peace, or (3) cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.
Few recall that Biden was awarded the Medal by President Obama in 2017. During the awards ceremony, Obama said about Biden, “for your faith in fellow Americans, for your love of country, and for your lifetime of service that will endure through the generations.”
All of what Obama said about Biden was a complete fabrication. His faith in his fellow Americans led him to exercise his power to indict them, force them to be vaccinated, and be subject to law enforcement raids by his personal Stasi organizations of the DOJ and FBI.
He loved his country so much that he extorted millions from Ukraine and China through his now-pardoned son, Hunter, enriching his family with millions. His lifetime service to the country was the pretense to amass a mansion and summer home in Delaware.
As President, Biden bestowed the Medal of Freedom to questionable recipients like himself, cheapening the honor once reserved for special people. In November, in a private ceremony, Biden awarded the medal to Cecile Richards, the former president of Planned Parenthood responsible for killing millions of babies in the womb. In a public ceremony just days ago, Biden honored two more dubious characters, Hillary Clinton and George Soros, with the Medal of Freedom. Clinton, through her failures in Benghazi, cost four of her employees their lives. She obstructed justice by destroying incriminating emails illegally held on her server. The partisan FBI refused to pass on the case for indictment to save her presidential candidacy.
But that wasn’t the end of Clinton’s shenanigans. The Russian conspiracy in the 2016 presidential election cost the country millions of dollars of unnecessary investigations and from a made-up conspiracy orchestrated by Hillary Clinton and her campaign. Besides the chaos the allegations brought, the country was divided by a complete falsehood. Again, hardly a meritorious citizen.
Biden continues to mock Americans by awarding George Soros the same Medal. One does not have to be well-versed in public affairs to know George Soros has done nothing to help the country. His vast wealth has funded far-left organizations for decades, organizations designed to cripple and harm democratic traditions and institutions.
Soros’s latest work is to fund far-left Das, who vows, if elected, to revise law enforcement, causing instability in major cities. There can be no one more unworthy of the Medal of Freedom than George Soros, who used his wealth and power to break down Western civilization across the world.
When unscrupulous individuals receive the Medal of Freedom, the honor behind it no longer exists. Would there ever be a pro-life recipient of the Medal of Freedom? Not hardly. What once was a symbol of honor, the left has destroyed and replaced it with a rabid political ideology. But that is what the far left always does: take tradition, redefine it, and adulterate it. This is what has happened to the Medal of Freedom. It is now nothing more than a hunk of metal.
