Last week, an ICE officer in Minneapolis shot and killed a woman. While any loss of life is truly an unfortunate event, the victim, Renee Nicole Good, made a series of imprudent and deliberate decisions that eventually ended her life.
DECISION 1: Good was portrayed by the mainstream media as some random mother of three who just happened to drive by at the wrong place at the wrong time on an icy Minneapolis street. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. Good was a prominent member of an activist group called ICE Watch, which she, according to the New York Post, was reported to have received training on tactics to disrupt active ICE investigations in sanctuary cities. Her first poor decision, to wage war against the Federal Government, is what placed her on a perilous path, ultimately leading to her death.
DECISION 2: The recently released video clearly shows that Good’s car was intentionally blocking a street by positioning herself perpendicular to the flow of traffic, thereby impeding a federal investigation. She and her lesbian partner were also seen harassing ICE for several minutes before the officers decided to do something.
DECISION 3: Tired of the games these activists were playing, ICE officers repeatedly told Good to get out of her car. She smugly and flatly refused.
DECISION 4: Perhaps Good was trying to evade arrest, but this last decision would seal her fate. Instead of complying with the officers’ request to exit the car, she made a desperate attempt to escape, most likely encouraged by her partner, who yelled, “Drive baby, drive!” In a rare moment of truth-telling after the shooting, the partner admitted it was her fault that Good had been killed.
Seconds before the shooting, Good looked right at the ICE officer near her, put her car in reverse, and then aggressively hit the gas pedal. At first, her tires spun on the ice, but then she lurched forward right at an ICE officer who was standing on the side of the car. The ICE officer was struck by the car and, in a defensive move, fired shots at Good. The bullet hole in the front of the windshield proves he was directly in the path of her car and feared for his life.
At any point up to her last decision, Good could have saved her life. It is difficult to know why she thought she could simply defy the orders of armed law enforcement without any consequences. Perhaps she had witnessed criminals across the country in Democrat run cities who are never held accountable. Maybe she was brainwashed by Democrat politicians who have encouraged civilians in their cities and states to take unnecessary risks. Either way, she did not fully process the severity of the situation she found herself in, and the consequences that followed.
Why these white liberal activist women are protecting those detained by ICE is a mystery in itself. DHS has provided a “Worst of the Worst” list of some of the criminals that have been arrested thus far in Minnesota. Those taken into custody are not model citizens. Some of their offenses include: sexual assault of a child, rape, murder, domestic violence, assault, fraud, human trafficking, drug trafficking, gang affiliation, and driving under the influence. These criminals are a clear and present danger to the safety and security of all law-abiding citizens.
The death of Good has unleashed a mob of unattractive, unhappy, unemployed Karen Intifada types who are cosplaying cop killers and posting threatening, crazy emotional videos all over the internet. They are also protesting in person, committing acts of vandalism and impeding the work of ICE. These people need real help and God in their lives. Nothing else explains the total lack of reason they are demonstrating and their over-the-top, unhinged reaction to a woman’s death that was totally avoidable if Good (and her partner) had only made some better decisions.
Pray for these misguided people and pray for our country.
