Anarchy in LA

Here we go again.

Almost five years after the 2020 George Floyd riots, L.A. has been engulfed in anarchy in its streets. Instead of the racial instigation of black and white, the present beef is motivated by recent ICE deportations. The disturbances in the last couple of days are supposedly in response to ICE following the law and removing and deporting individuals who illegally entered the country.

Exactly as they did during the 2020 riots, the mainstream media is falsely reporting the protests as “mostly” non-violent.  Failed Presidential candidate,  Kamala Harris went so far as to say the protests are “overwhelmingly peaceful”.  Local L.A. anchor, Jory Rand, cautioned law enforcement should not escalate the protest by bringing order back to the city because it could turn “what is just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn.”   At least Rand admitted cars were set on fire, a fact prominent Democrats and the mainstream media conveniently avoid.

Police Chief Jim McDonnell admitted the duration and scope of the LA riots had overwhelmed his police department. The chaos spanning five days had led President Trump to mobilize the National Guard to quell the violence and damage happening in L.A. The chaos is substantial, and Pete Hegseth believes it is necessary to give the National Guardsmen a break and support, and has ordered 700 Marines to L.A. to secure the peace. These are not peaceful protests; some agitators are funded by dark money and taxpayer funds.

According to Townhall.com, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) is closely connected to Democratic leaders, and foreign billionaires are suspected of supporting the organization. Additionally, CHIRLA received California government grants and nearly half a million dollars from the Department of Homeland Security in 2023. CHIRLA opened an “Immigrant Welcome Center” in downtown Los Angeles through taxpayer money.

Data Republican noticed that, along with CHIRLA, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, another NGO, was responsible for printing the signs used in the insurrection. On their website, they have a page in both Spanish and English. advising the reader not to work with ICE without a warrant. “Don’t let Trump and ICE win without a fight! Papers or not, everyone has certain rights they can use when an agent is trying to deport them. We are workers with dignity and we deserve to stay where we are. One of the most important things to remember is to refuse to open the door unless ICE has a signed warrant from a judge.”

What the pro-illegal immigrants are missing is that the law of the United States has a procedure, and challenging the law outside the proper channels is part of the reason for the riots in L.A. The immigration laws on the books are not immoral because every country has the right to determine who immigrates and who should not. Over the past five years, the proponents of open borders have defied the law of the land, as with those who crossed the border.

The violence and looting in L.A. are not righteous acts supporting a moral principle.  If they were, the fruit of the dissent would not be the will to harm law enforcement or destroy other people’s property. You have to call this what it is, an insurrection against the nation that stipulates an orderly immigration policy. The pictures and the videos from the protest show that the American flag was spat on and burned while flags of other nations were flown high. The revolutionaries concluded that the optics were not good, so they replaced the foreign flags with American ones.

In many moral matters, the questions are pretty simple. One needs to look and see the fruit of an action to determine whether the act is good or bad. The fruits of the L.A. riots are not good, nor are the intentions of the so-called protesters.  Like George Floyd, the illegal immigrants are pawns for those Marxists who do not want just immigration but rather a complete takeover of our country.
